Happy happy Tuesday!
honestly although I love to cook i get to a point sometimes where I have no idea what to make. I always ask my husband "what should we eat" and sometimes we are both not sure. In those times I always go towards making something simple and of course this happens to be my hubby's favorite.
Cooking something like Chicken Alfredo can be easy to gravitate towards the traditional meal itself..... Personally tradition is cool but I like to add a little character to a traditional dish.
Recipe - Serves 6
- 1 LB Rigatoni noodles
- 1 Jar of Alfredo Sauce
- 1 can of corn
- 3 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 LB of shrimp
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- dried basil, parsley to taste
Cook your noodles al dente add all your seasonings to pasta. Saute your chicken and shrimp and add to pasta along with the alfredo sauce. Add corn last, stir and serve. Chicken Alfredo should be nice and creamy.
The Tasty Table
Happy Friday!! Yay! for the 2nd installment of "Friday's Gusto". Im excited to share a little foodie review with you all.
Last weekend my sisters and i found the seoul taco truck in the St Louis Soulard area and let me tell you it was so yummy! Seoul taco is a korean & mexican fusion restaurant/ food truck in the St Louis area that has really put a lot of thought into the mixture of the flavors. Good Job! If your in the St Louis area visit seoul taco!
I decided to get the steak tacos..... the mix of sweet and spicy sauces was a true hit. Of course i had to get a lime jarritos.
Next stop of the weekend was Ices, Plain and Fancy in the shaw nieghborhood in St Louis. Such a fun place!! They make their ice cream with liquid nitrogen.. how cool is that?! Definitely a must!
Such an adorable place and they are open late.. thats a plus.
I went with the salted dulce de leche with cherries on top... yummmy!
Have a great weekend and share any great foodie places you have been to by tagging my tasty table using #itstasty.
Today i want to share some awesome kitchens that i have been seeing around pinterest. Literally every kitchen in this post makes me happy. The bright colors definitely brings inspiration to cook something pretty! Happy Friday and E N J O Y!
Yes! i said it a crustless quiche... You may ask yourself how in the world do you make a quiche without the crust... ill tell ya. I decided to make this my first official post because literally it was so easy and all the ingredients were easy to gather. So enough of the chatter lets get to it...
- Handful of spinach roughly chopped
- Grape Tomatoes cut into halves
- Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 6 Farm fresh eggs
- 1/2 tablespoon of cumin or to taste
- 1/2 tablespoon of smoked paprika
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- Bake at 350 degrees
- Time: 40 min
- Serves 4-6
Once your spinach is chopped and your tomatoes are cut, whip your eggs in a separate bowl. Add all ingredients to the egg mixture and pour into a greased baking dish. I greased my baking dish with coconut oil to add a nice flavor.
Bake for 40 min or until center is firm at 350 degrees.
While the quiche is baking, thinly slice your tortillas into strips, cook them in coconut oil until slightly brown.
Top the quiche with tortilla strips. Let cool and serve with a yummy hot sauce or salsa of your choice!
Im tellin you its so good and full of flavor. ENJOY!!
